Men nudity is seen differently in Asian countries than in the Western part of the world. Being nude in some specific places like public bath, is a quite natural attitude in Japan or China.

On an other hand, and mainly in Japan, most of the men front nudity pictures are “pixelized” in order to hide a direct view of the genital parts of the body. This apply also to sexual scene in still images or in videos. But the trend is definitively to forget about this and you can find on internet, more and more nude men even in frontal  view.

In cinema, frontal nudity where the genitals are fully displayed has traditionally been taboo from East Asia, as well as East Asian actors who play outside their countries of origin.

Things are moving ahead, and recently some films have revealed the full frontal appearance of East Asian actors. This is the case of the Hong Kong Chinese Michael Lam in Bugis Street, an other Hing Kong  Chinese Sunny Chan in Hold You Tight, or the mainland China lead actor Liu Ye in Lan Yu.  This is just some examples.
